We are entering Phase 4: indoor & outdoor Jumu’ah prayers starting tomorrow and five indoor daily prayers starting this Sunday.
RSVP no longer required to attend for any congregational prayer at MCC. Prayer space is first-come, first-serve.
Social distancing, masks, and bringing your own prayer mat still required.
For worshipers attending outdoor Jumu’ah, please park in the neighboring HP parking lot (map).
We leave the discretion for children under 13 to attend to the best judgement of parents. Children must be supervised at all times.

Phase Four – Limited Indoor Opening
Date: Starting May 28, 2021
- The MCC prayer hall will be open for the five daily prayers.
- Up to 100 congregants will be allowed for each prayer and for the Friday Jumu’ah prayer a parallel space in the parking lot will be made available accommodating up to 300 worshipers.
- The doors will open 20 minutes before Iqama time and will close 30 minutes after the prayer ends and congregants leave. Iqamah timings at https://mcceastbay.org/prayer
- No bathroom facilities available, congregants must bring their own prayer rug and wear a face mask for the duration of time while in Prayer Hall.
- Social distancing markers will be placed on the floor six feet apart in all directions in the Prayer Hall. The number of worshipers allowed into MCC will be determined by the number of these markers that each area will take and be offered online on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- Cleaning staff will disinfect areas in accordance with CDC guidelines for constantly used surfaces.
- Congregants are free to offer mandatory and sunnah prayers at MCC, but we ask that please no gatherings take place asides from prayers.
