Beginning November 2026, the Muslim Community Center East Bay (MCC) will implement an updated Dhuhr prayer schedule to support its Sunday School closed-campus policy and strengthen campus safety.

Under the updated schedule, Dhuhr prayer on Sundays will take place at 1:30 PM, allowing Sunday School students, staff, and volunteers to continue their day without disrupting campus security procedures. On all other days, Dhuhr prayer will remain at 12:30 PM.
This adjustment is part of MCC’s ongoing efforts to maintain a safe and secure environment for students, families, staff, volunteers, and community members. The Sunday School closed-campus policy helps ensure that students remain within a supervised and secure environment throughout the school day.
Accommodations for Visitors and Travelers
We understand that community members, travelers, and first-time visitors may need a place to pray during the regular 12:30 PM Dhuhr time. As an accommodation, MCC will provide a couple of prayer rugs outside the building for those who need to perform Dhuhr during Sunday School hours.
We appreciate the community’s understanding and cooperation as we implement this updated schedule. Your support helps MCC maintain a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.
Updated Dhuhr Prayer Schedule (Effective November 2026):
- Sundays: 1:30 PM
- Monday–Saturday: 12:30 PM
Jazakum Allahu Khairan for your cooperation and continued support.
