MCC East Bay is excited to officially open our new basketball court for the youth and community! π
We recently celebrated this exciting milestone with an opening ceremony featuring Imam Zaid Shakir, bringing together community members, families, and youth to mark the beginning of a new chapter for recreation and connection at MCC.
The new basketball court is more than just a place to play. It is a space where our youth can stay active, build friendships, develop teamwork, and create lasting memories within their community. At MCC, we want our youth to feel that the masjid is not only a place of worship, but also a welcoming home where they can gather, connect, and grow.
We are especially excited about the opportunities this new space will provide for youth programming, sports activities, tournaments, and community gatherings. Whether it’s a friendly pickup game after Salah or an organized youth event, we look forward to seeing the court filled with energy and excitement.
