This summer, MCC East Bay had the pleasure of hosting Anatomy & Physiology 101 Summer Camp with Dr. Ehthesham Ali, giving youth an exciting opportunity to explore the human body’s incredible design through interactive, hands-on learning.

Throughout the camp, students were introduced to the fundamentals of anatomy and physiology, learning how the body’s major systems work together to keep us healthy and functioning. Through engaging lessons, discussions, and activities, campers developed a deeper appreciation for science while strengthening their curiosity and critical thinking skills.

One of the highlights of the camp was the end-of-camp dissection, where students had the opportunity to apply what they learned in a supervised, educational environment. This memorable hands-on experience allowed participants to examine anatomical structures firsthand and connect classroom concepts with real-world observation.
