The outstanding students at Peace Terrace Academy in Fremont helped the MCC community spread cheer to families in need during this blessed time by donating new gifts to the MCC Girl Scouts’ 6th Annual Toy Drive
During Ramadan, we collected over 650 toys for local zakat-eligible families, including many refugee families assisted by MCC East Bay.
On Friday morning, teens from Averroes High School wrapped the gifts with our Girl Scouts for distribution to families in the East Bay in the days leading up to Eid.
Thank to all our youth and parents in the East Bay for working hard to bring smiles to hundreds of local children this Eid!
