The MCC community can arrange for the free COVID Vaccine in Oakland, Pleasanton or Livermore for any resident in Alameda County ages 16+.

  • Oakland Coliseum Alameda County has provided priority one-time appointments for the Muslim East Bay community.. These codes provide priority access to appointments that are not available to the general public. Only Pfizer shot. Request now at https://mcceastbay.org/code
  • Pleasanton/Livermore Drive-thru or walk-up appointments are available at the Axis Community Clinics in Pleasanton and Livermore. Moderna, Pfizer or J & J vaccines available. Call (925) 462-1755

Both options are completely free options (no insurance card or immigration papers needed) and staff at both sites can accommodate multiple languages.

Once I get the code, how do I book my appointment at the Oakland Coliseum?

  • MCC will email an individual code for you and each of your family members ages 16+.
  • The codes are single-use (one per person), do not expire, and provide priority access to appointments that are not available to the general public.
  • You can make your appointment:

    • Special Needs: People who chat online for assistance at chat.myturn.ca.gov

Who is eligible?

All Alameda County residents aged 16+ are now eligible for vaccine. 16 &17 year olds should be accompanied by a parent/guardian when receiving their vaccine.

What vaccine is offered?

The Oakland Coliseum offers Pfizer, which is approved for people aged 16+.

What should people expect?

  • The vast majority of appointments are available as drive-through.
  • There are also “walk-up” appointments that are accessible by the Coliseum’s BART pedestrian bridge and an AC Transit shuttle that runs between Coliseum BART, Eastmont Transit Hub, and the vaccine site.
  • The site is staffed by a mix of state and federal contractors and employees, some of whom wear military uniforms. These individuals are here only for the humanitarian purposes of vaccine delivery.
  • The vaccine is free of charge and no one is asked about immigration status.
  • Onsite translation services are available.
