**Positively no used clothing for refugees accepted at MCC or SRVIC masjids.**
At the East Bay Bazar, recently arrived Afghan refugees stopped in for a hearty welcome and household supplies.
In anticipation of the event on Saturday, November 13, 2021, dozens of volunteers from the San Ramon Valley Islamic Center and the Muslim Community Center sorted donated clothes, shoes, laptops, baby items, and toys as well as prepared food care packages and heaters for the winters.
Community volunteers transported about forty Afghan at this first-of-its-kind event. With the inaugural success, another session is scheduled for December.
